Where are the bags made?
All of our bags are made within our London workshop, from start to finish.
We are currently based in Deptford, London, within the Cockpit Arts community of makers. We operate a creative studio space, working amongst many other designers and artisans, of incredible talent, and distinction within their respective fields of craft.
We open-up our studio twice a year as part of the Cockpit Arts Open Studio events. This is open to visitors, who may want to meet the maker, and watch her at work.
Please follow us to receive information regarding dates, and how to get here. We would love to meet you!

What is your ethical policy regarding leather?
100% of the leathers we use, come from tanneries certified by the Leather Working Group (LWG), a label responsible for assessing tanneries worldwide. Learn more
We are firmly against the use of sweat-shops, and work diligently to source materials and fittings from reputable suppliers, who validate their materials ethicality with the leading industry standard certifications. These include, BCI Cottons and LWG leathers. We also pay due-diligence to the changing nature of the manufacturing industry, and therefore work to evolve and improve our actions on ethical sourcing as we grow.
Our primary aim is to produce products in a small-batch sett-up, to maintain a ‘low-impact’ on the environment.

How do I care for my vegetable tanned leather bag?
Our vegetable-tanned leather bags develop a beautiful patina over time if properly maintained. To preserve their shine, we recommend regular care every 3 to 6 months (depending on use) with a soft cloth and the application of leather milk. Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight and humidity to ensure exceptional longevity.
Please visit our Product Care section for more detailed information, which also includes personal action-points that you can implement to ensure the longevity of your product.
